At start up, I always get a message-- "Office Genuine Advantage has encountered a problem and needs to close."  Send Error Report or Don't send.  How can I fix this?

Office Genuine Advantage message. Please visit http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/diag/ and run the diagnostics. That will validate the windows and the office. You will need to install an active x component, but once we rule that out there are a few other things we can do. thanks, vM.V.P. - Desktop Experience | M.C.S.A. | M.C.P. - MS Server 2k3, Network Architecture

well, the oganotifier is a way for windows to validate itself. I've never owned an illegal copy of windows, and I've never had that pop up before. If you have validated your machine at the above link, and it's legal, you can simply google for oginotifier.msi and follow some of the instructions that will turn up. ***note: I've never performed any of the suggested work-arounds, so you are doing this on your own, without support*** here's a link that describes it in more detail, from another MVP. hth, vM.V.P. - Desktop Experience | M.C.S.A. | M.C.P. - MS Server 2k3, Network Architecture
